Prayer Storm – releases her battle cry!

Rebecca Aladiran, is storming the heavens through her devote life of worship.

Rebecca is wife of James Aladiran, the Founder of ‘Prayer Storm’ movement, called to equip people to be increasingly zealous and strategic in prayer.

Rebecca has been the Worship Leader of Prayer Storm for over six years, faithfully giving her heart to a call of prayer and encountered intimacy.

RebeccaOn the 27th April 2017 Prayer Storm released their first album, entitled We Declare War.’ Yet, unlike any conventional worship album. Rebecca states “The album We Declare War is not just a worship album but an album with songs of encounter, warfare and prayer.

She explains how “We cannot coexist with an enemy we are called to evict. We are declaring war on prayerlessness, fear, depression, anything that tries to oppose God. This may present itself differently to the individual, it is a personal response.”

Rebecca sensed the need for Prayer Storm to release an album, one unique to the movement’s call and ‘assignment,’ set for Kingdom advancement. Additionally, their track entitled We Declare War powerfully resonates their hearts cry to the UK, for an awakening.

In a time of prayer and fasting Rebecca was contending for a sound, she shares how in that time she was intensely seeking God for a sound that “Breaks the chains of immorality, witchcraft, a sound of deliverance.” During this time a prophetic word was given to her that she was contending for sound that had not been released yet. How her music will nourish the persecuted church, the underground church and hold a generation of the persecuted church in faith.
James and Rebecca

James and Rebecca believe that like many others commissioned by God they too are releasing a prophetic battle cry from heaven to earth, that will bring freedom and allow others to release their own sound.

As a movement Prayer Storm reminds the church of their identity as warriors and warriors never give up; despite it not always being easy, or feeling as though we are not winning, the choice to contend with what God has placed in one’s spirit, is to keep going – the album exquisitely echoes this truth.

The Prayer Storm album is produced by Music Director of Prayer Storm Lloyd Gordon, and mixed by Sam Hocking. The worship team consists of Worship Leader/Singer songwriter Lisa Burrell, Victoria Aladiran, and many others.
